I’ve had this dress for over three years now and have never worn it. It was one of those the price is too good to pass up, impulse buys. It was on clearance with an additional 75% off. I believe I paid about $12 for it and ended up buying one in white as well. Also the shoes were another great find from Ross, only $16.99 and a size 12 (you know these were welcomed with a happy dance). If you’ve been following this blog for a while you know I’m a sucker for a great deal…lol
When I first tried this dress on at home, I paired it with the matching belt it came with but felt it was a bit too bland. So I took this dress off and buried it in my closet. When I came across this dress again I immediately thought to pair it with a thick wide waist belt I purchased from Charlotte Russe a few months ago. When I looked in the mirror I felt completely different about the dress. I felt very lady like, not boring at all. The belt gave the dress just the pop it needed and also helped to create an amazing waistline on me as well. Wide waist belts will definitely be making more appearances on the blog.
