I am totally excited to share this outfit post with you all because I am wearing a jumpsuit that I made myself, but also to share this beautiful necklace from Shabana Khan Jewelry. I was introduced to this jewelry brand a few weeks ago and absolutely love their line of jewelry (my husband does too). The jewelry is stunning and the prices are very reasonable in my opinion. I have been sewing up a storm lately and I am so excited about today’s outfit post featuring my black diy jumpsuit. While perusing Pinterest, as I obsessively do, looking for all kinds of inspiration, I came across a cute black jumpsuit. Of course I wanted one and being the super tall gal that I am, it was impossible trying to find a jumpsuit to fit my frame, that didn’t cost me a bazillion bucks. So I decided, “hey why not try to make one myself”. I used McCall’s 6803 pattern for my diy jumpsuit and made both top options but I didn’t lengthen the bodice of the faux wrap top one long enough so I tried the tube top version with added length. This was my first time making pants and doing pockets but I surprised myself, because I actually got them both right on the first try. I will definitely be making more jumpsuits in different colors and top variations. This one is so comfortable and easy to just throw on. Plus you can dress them up or down by changing accessories or throwing on a blazer, cardigan or even a leather or denim jacket for different looks. So how do you feel about jumpsuits?
Thank you so much for reading!
