Cobalt Blue Dress: Old Navy (old), large tall, similar
Shoes: Vince Camuto, size 12
Bag: Louis Vuitton
I remixed my cobalt blue dress today by pairing it with a camel blazer. I first wore my cobalt blue dress as a skirt here. This dress is turning out to be a great inexpensive buy. I have a bad habit of buying the same item in multiple colors if I really like it and it is a ‘bargain’. This dress I’m glad I bought it in 2 other available colors as well (black and fuchsia), when I purchased it a couple of months ago on sale for around $15. Because they are now sold out and this dress fits great and I’m finding it to be quite versatile. It is a thick ponte knit material with some stretch, so it has some structure and a bit of weight, but isn’t stiff and flows quite nicely. I also love the added detail of an exposed zipper in the back. I also think the length is perfect because it can be dressed up or down depending on the shoes and accessories you wear. It is sleeveless, so I think that also adds a bit more versatility with what can be paired with it. I’ve worn it as a skirt with a sweater and wool coat over it. Now here as a dress with a blazer. I plan on wearing it again soon on the blog with a button up shirt layered underneath and closed toe pumps. For warmer weather or the spring/summer months it can be worn alone with a pair of cute sandals, or with a denim jacket and as a cute preppy look with a cardigan thrown over the shoulders. So if you own this dress or one like it, you can get quite a few different looks out of it. Stay tuned for more inspiration, coming soon. It’s all about making the most of your wardrobe.
