I tell you shopping my closet has been really, really fun as of late. My closet is really coming together. I look in there now and grab something, like my leopard print pumps and immediately at least ten things come to mind that I already own that I can wear with them. I knew that I wanted to pull out the colors in my leopard print pumps, so I grabbed a pair of black skinny jeans and my black cowl neck tunic sweater. The cognac color was was pulled out with this faux suede midi jacket I picked up on sale from Long Tall Sally a couple of years ago.
As I’m posting more looks I’m realizing that my style is pretty simple and starting to lean towards the classic side with a few “fun” pieces thrown in here and there. As I get older I can see that I won’t have to do much shopping in the years to come, unless I have substantial weight gain or weight loss. Currently about 80% of my closet are pieces that can be worn year after year and year long through out Southern California seasons. My goal is to get it 99% and I am well on my way as I start to get wean out a little more. Also looking forward to sewing more classic pieces for spring and summer.
Thank you for stopping by!
Hugs,
