Olive and navy has always been a favorite combination of mine. Normally I save this color combo for the fall but I think it works well for the transition into spring as well. And I was inspired to create this look today by revisiting some of my old InStyle magazines and coming across the color crash course cards. Gives you even more options of shopping your closet by trying different color pairings. Thinking about it these are two colors that I wear practically all year long separately. So finding ways to combine them together in fresh ways from pieces in my closet are a goal. I’ve had these navy chinos for over a year now and this olive utility shirt is a recent purchase. While looking through my closet I found that it was lacking in neutral shirts. I have a lot of tees and tanks but felt I had gaps in button ups. So when I found this on major sale and available in tall sizes I jumped on it and I am so glad that I did. I can wear this olive green top with white, black, tan, blush and even bright pink chinos that I own. Plus it can double as a light weight jacket layered over a tee or tank which also gives it even more options. I also have plans for pairing it under blazers as well. Such a great buy for my closet and in case you’re in need of one as well it is linked up above. Stay tuned for re-mixes.
Thank you for stopping by!
Hugs,
