Happy Valentine’s Day Loves!! I thought today would be a great day to showcase this diy red wrap skirt I made using McCall’s M7606 view D. It is such a easy pattern to sew and great because it has multiple skirt options and 2 bodysuit options. I can’t wait to sew up the ruffled skirt option soon. But for today’s skirt I chose view D which is a wrap skirt that is higher in the front and lower in the back. I used a red knit from my stash that I believe I purchased from Fabric Mart when I was living in Hawaii a couple of years ago. This skirt was easy to sew up and I’m quite happy with how it turned out. Today I dressed it up with a simple black off the shoulder top that I’ve had for about a year and these cute Sam Edelman barely there heels that I picked up a couple of months ago from Nordstrom Rack. I look like I’m ready for a night out Salsa dancing, which would be a great Valentine’s Day date but keeping it real, it’s a school night and a work night so the hubby and I will more than likely order food in and watch the Justice League movie from the Apple TV. I’m not mad at this at all. I realize that as I get older I enjoy just being home and comfortable along as we are together because we didn’t always have that option when he was in the Army and sometimes away.
Thank you for stopping by!
Hugs,
