Velvet is so luxe and elegant and perfect for this time of year. It’s a great time to pick up a piece or two around this time because a lot of retailers carry velvet pieces and the hard to find velvet suits are available in tall sizes. If you pick up quality pieces they can last you for years to come. I’ve had these Old Navy black velvet ankle pants for two years now and picked up my black velvet blazer on sale last year from Banana Republic. My burgundy velvet wrap top is a recent pick up from Long Tall Sally and my navy blue velvet booties are several months old from Steve Madden via Nordstrom Rack. I have several velvet pieces and love how these three go together.
