Gingham Power Suit

I am a sucker for all things gingham! It is one of my favorite prints to wear, especially during the spring and summer. Last year J. Crew came out with a navy gingham and I was so excited until my joy was taken away when I realized that it did not come in tall. So my dreams of a navy gingham blazer were deferred that is until I found one from Chadwick’s of Boston and also saw that they had a pink gingham blazer as well. At the time I had a 20% off discount code and you know I quickly added both to my cart. My shopping budget didn’t allow for me to get the matching pants at the time and I soon forgot about them until I received an email notice about a sale. I went to browse online and lo and behold, the pants were available in my my size in tall in both the navy and pink on clearance, because they were out of season. I quickly snapped them up. I’ve been waiting for spring to come back around to break this bad boy out on the blog. Today I decided to pair it with fuchsia and feel like a boss heading into the week. On a side note how cute is this mural?! Here’s to living life more boldly, in color and gingham print. 😉
