Denim Days

Hello Lovelies! So I spotted this denim shirt dress online at SHEIN and was intrigued. I noticed obviously that it was denim and the length of where it hit on the model. I knew that it would be shorter on me, which is actually what I wanted as on the model it seemed to hit at an awkward length that wasn’t quite midi but hit at the widest part of her calf. I loved the idea that it also had pockets, which I think is a rarity in a “real denim” shirt dress. When I say real denim I’m talking about the Levis type weight denim and that is what this dress is. It is not lightweight like a chambray at all. Which explains why the price may be a little higher than we are used to seeing with SHEIN. The quality of the denim is great. Its a great dress for spring and cooler summer days and would be perfect for fall with boots as well. I love that it looks just as cute with its self tie belt as it does without the belt. It hits me just at my knees on my 6’4 inch frame. the sleeves on this do not reach my wrists, but I don’t mind because of the weight of this dress I would keep them rolled up or cuffed all the time anyway.
