You know the big sizes are always the first to go, so you can’t wait until the last-minute. Although to be honest, I normally am waiting around for a sale. But with a couple of pair that caught my eye the price was already right and I didn’t want to take any chances of them not having my size, I am in desperate need of some booties in my closet (made me laugh too, no, not that kind of booty)…lol You’ll see what I’m talking about below.
Christian Siriano for Payless Women’s Racquel Side Zip Bootine in black, sizes 5-13, $49.99 at payless.com (I just ordered these!)
Christian Siriano for Payless Women’s Racquel Side Zip Bootine in leopard, sizes 5-13, $49.99 at payless.com (Couldn’t help myself and ordered these as well)

Ga Ga For Gingham
Posted: May 10, 2012 Filed under: Style Inspiration | Tags: elizabeth taylor, gingham, mint, Old Navy, red, tall, yellow 2 Comments »Gingham is back big time and I love it! I think it can be preppy, country, chic and yes even demurely sexy, as seen on the siren herself, Elizabeth Taylor. The print is perfect for this spring and summer so I was ecstatic to see oldnavy.com carrying them in tall sizes. They had a 30% savings going on at the time that I spotted them, so you know I had to scoop up more than just one color. I believe gingham is a classic print so I’m sure I’ll be pulling these shirts out year after year. Now I just need to figure out different and creative ways to style them. I have about a week or so until my photographer aka the hubster is back from his trip and I’ll be able to share my “real life” outfit posts again, but in the meantime its kind of fun creating these “virtual” ones. If anything I’ll have a lookbook to look back on for different styling ideas. I hope they help give you all lots of ideas as well. I’m on Pinterest, here and you can follow me if you would like. You will be able find these and other outfits I’ve created for the blog as well as a few others that are not used in the blog at least as of yet, under my <Style> Inspiration Board.

Posted: May 2, 2012 Filed under: Style Inspiration | Tags: gray, long elegant legs, long tall sally, nordstrom, Old Navy, style, topshop, yellow 4 Comments »I really love the pairing of these two colors (Gray + Lemon) together. I myself have tried it once in a previous outfit post here. It’s a color combination that at first you might think twice about but once you try it, you’re like wow why didn’t I do this before. :)
Neutral Know How :: Navy + Orange
Posted: May 1, 2012 Filed under: Style Inspiration | Tags: amazon, clothing, dorothy perkins, long tall sally, navy, neutral know how, Old Navy, orange, style, style inspiration, tall 2 Comments »InStyle Magazine has inserted these wonderful little tear outs that help you figure out what the best colors are to pair with neutrals. I really love these and they truly come in handy. I’ve decided to created posts for each color pairing showing inspirational ways they can be styled along with a few shopping tall pieces that can be found at local retailers in these colors. I hope this and future color pairings help to open up a new world of possibilities when it comes to updating your style. :)
