Today its all about blue gingham and aviators.  This out was inspired by an outfit post I came across on Pinterest.  I saw the picture and realized I had all the similar pieces and loved how it looked.  So I tried it with items I already had in my closet and voila!  My white jeans and blue gingham button down are both from Old Navy.  I love gingham and anytime they have a new color, I automatically buy it.  My sandals are the ‘Barbados’ from Barefoot Tess.  As you probably can tell by now I am totally obsessed with this type of mini wedge sandal.  They are so comfortables and can be paired with anything as I have worn them with jeans, shorts, pants, pencil skirts and maxi dresses.  I know a lot of you like my J. Crew sandals but find them to be a bit pricey, so these may be a more affordable or less pricey option for you.  They also come in black. I read some of the reviews on the barefoot Tess site in regards to these shoes after I had already chose them and was nervous when I received them.  But I didn’t find them to be uncomfortable at all.  I’m wearing a size 13 and the footbed is again perfect for what I would say my slightly wide foot.  The front strap doesn’t feel too tight either.  My only con would be that I wish they were real leather as opposed to pleather, but they still look great.  This is my second time wearing them (first time here) and I already have a lot of outfit posts planned for these sandals.  A perfect neutral spring/summer sandal.

For several years now I have been searching high and low for a pair of gladiator sandals to fit my size 12/13 feet that didn’t come up too short on my legs.  Also a pair that wouldn’t break my piggy bank.  I literally squealed with excitement when I spotted these on the Barefoot Tess site. The footbed is perfect for my foot.  I’m wearing a size 13.  Just in case you are interested in grabbing a pair, they are available up to a size 15! They go up to the perfect height on my leg just below my knee.  The straps going up the leg have elastic if you have a thicker leg/calf so they stretch and will move with you and the very top strap is adjustable, so you can loosen or tighten it as you need.  You guys just don’t know how happy I am to finally have my hands on a pair of these gladiator sandals. I decided to pair them in what I would call a bohemian type look that I think would be perfect for attending a summer concert.  My black off the shoulder sweater was a clearance find from Alloy Apparel.  My cut-off shorts were a DIY project from a old pair of Lucky Brand Jeans.  I’m happy to say that I, Tanasha am finally a gladiator and I love it!

Coral, Gold and Sea-foam a perfect spring and summer color combination.  I’ve had this sea-foam sweater in my closet for quite sometime now.  I actually purchased it on clearance from Target towards the end of winter thinking it would be light enough and the perfect color for spring.  Seems like I was right.  I just wasn’t sure what colors I would pair with it, to help make it pop and then Barefoot Tess came to the rescue….

Barefoot Tess is an online shoe retailer that carries larger size women’s shoes from size 10-15.  So I was Über excited when I was given the opportunity to style and review the B.F.T  “Charlotte” heel in coral/gold from Barefoot Tess, to style and review for you all. I love the rich coral color and the gold cap toe, gives this shoe that extra oomph.  It definitely rings true to their motto, “Because style doesn’t stop at a size 10.” These shoes are super comfortable, super cute and oh so stylish. Now note they do run a bit wide, but if your feet are a tad on the wide side like mine, then this would be a comfortable and great fitting shoe for you. I’m wearing a size 13 It states that the heel height is 3.5″ but when wearing this shoe it does not feel like that at all and it does not look like it is that high either.  It feels and looks more between 2″ and 2.5″ at the most, which I actually prefer because that makes them everyday wearable for me. So these lovelies will definitely be a part of my regular rotation this spring and summer.
