Gap Quilted Knit Bomber

Hello Lovelies! Today its all about this Gap quilted knit bomber jacket.  I purchased this jacket a few weeks ago and this is my first time wearing it.  I’ve been wanting something quilted to add to my wardrobe and when I spotted this jacket on the Gap website in this lovely dark heather grey shade I knew immediately that this would be my one trendy quilted piece.  It also helped that there was a 30% off promotion going on at the time as well.  This jacket is super soft, and warm, but not too heavy that it makes you hot.  It is a 62% cotton, 38% polyester blend and it is unlined. It does look a bit unfinished on the inside but this doesn’t bother me as it is a casual knit jacket. Now let’s talk about these sleeves! I kept them pulled all the way down, because I wanted you all to see how long they are. I measured from the shoulder seam and it is a little bit over 28″ long. For reference I am wearing a size large tall and I would say it fits true to size. If you have really long arms and a hard time finding jackets with sleeves long enough even in tall sizes then you may want to try this one because the sleeves are extremely long as you can see in my pics.   Although this quilted jacket may be considered a trendy piece, I think because of the classic heather grey color and bomber style it is a piece that I can keep around for years to come and can wear from fall, winter to spring because of the climate I’m in.  Also when I went to find the links to provide for you all, I noticed that they only had the heather grey color left, which is a lighter shade of heather grey than mine.  Just wanted to let you know in case you decided to purchase and yours looked a little different. pretty tall style - tall women's fashion blog - gap quilted knit bomberWhat I’m Wearing:

Hello lovelies! Today’s outfit of burgundy and black,, is probably one of my favorites to date.  It is cute, chic, comfortable and classic, but most importantly it is an inexpensive and easy peezy outfit, put together with pieces from some of my favorite stores.  My dress which is tall size and my bucket bag are both from Old Navy, both bought on sale and online.  I love the length of this tunic dress.  It hits right at the perfect spot for this mom on the go.  Perfect for running errands, brunch dates and picking up the kids without flashing anyone…a winner in my books! My scarf is a clearance find from Target,  what can I say I love Target and make it a habit to stop by at least once or ok maybe twice a week. Love their clearance section even more, always some great finds there. My hat is a $10 bargain beauty from Forever 21.  I haven’t had much luck with them lately on clothing finds but I always ending up buying something from their accessories line, whether it be a hat, bag or jewelry, their style and prices never disappoint. Last but not least my black open toe ankle boot shoes or ‘shooties’ are a Payless sale find.  I really love that a lot of their shoes go up to a size 13 an although as some have mentioned their prices have gone up, but I believe their quality and style quotient have as well.  So I’m okay with that.  Plus their sales and discount codes more then make up for it.  I might be a little partial as well because I’m always using my military discount in stores as well. These stores are known for being budget friendly and I love how they have all stepped up their game, by adding on trend yet classic pieces that look expensive, but don’t break the bank. They’ve allowed me to step my game up and adhere to my motto of finding ‘stylish, yet affordable fashion that fits’.  Do you have a favorite store that you love for their inexpensive yet stylish pieces?pretty tall style - tall women's fashion blog - burgundy and blackWhat I’m Wearing:

Okay lovelies, so you all know how much I have been loving lately, well let me tell you about this dress here!  This tribal print body con dress is now my absolute favorite purchase to date.  I mean does it get any more fabulous than the combination of this print and these bold and vibrant colors!DSC04470_pp

Well it does get better when you know you only paid $11.99 for this fabulousness because you got it at Ross.  I’m telling you again if you haven’t been in a while to check your locals stores out because you may just stumble upon an incredible piece for an incredible price.DSC04475_pp

I decided to focus on the vibrant cobalt blue in this dress by pairing it with my favorite cobalt pumps from the avenue and this croc embossed oversize clutch from Asos.  I think they paired perfectly.  I plan on wearing this dress underneath blazers and jackets to get maximum wear out of it.DSC04447_ppWhat I’m Wearing:
