I am totally loving graphic tees right now and have been finding some cute ones as of late.  Today I am rocking this cute Cuba tee from Old Navy. I was instantly drawn to it by the colors and red/orange trim. Unfortunately I don’t see it online any longer, so you may want to check your local store if you like it as much as I do.  But I have also linked some similar ones up above as well. Graphic tees can be dressed up or dressed down with denim, as I’m wearing today, or skirts and shorts, as I have done in previous posts.  I have added a blazer and heels for this casual and chic look, but you could easily slip on a cute pair of flats, slides, mules or even sneakers with this look as well.  Pretty Tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion and DIY Style Blog - Cuba Neon Brights Pretty Tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion and DIY Style Blog - Cuba Neon Brights

When it comes to camo print, you find that people either really love it or they really hate.  There seems to be no in-between with this print.  I have to admit that earlier I was probably on the no love side, but that has definitely changed.  I have gone to the camo love side and there is no looking back..lol You know they say fashion should be fun and that is what I had in mind when it put this look together.  As you all know, if you’ve been following me for a while I love looking to Pinterest and Instagram for style inspiration.  It helps me to shop my closet, gives me ideas on pieces that I would have never thought of to put together on my own, and it has been helping me to figure out what works and what doesn’t and they say you’ll never know unless you try it.  Well I came across a look that featured pretty much everything I have on and I loved it.  Now I already had everything in my closet except for the bag.  I went scouring the internet for an inexpensive camo print bag and found this one on Ebay, the only problem was it didn’t have red trim, like the one in my inspiration pic.  So I ordered it anyway because it was under $10 and when I received it a couple of days later I looked through my sewing stash and found some bias binding and sewed it onto my bag.  I have to tell you I like this look, I think its fun and cute and works because although my tote bag is camo, the size and color of the print is different from my tee, so although it matches it isn’t match-matchy and the pop of red trim ties my shoes in. I know there are people who do nutlike the print, but I have to tell you I am all about camouflage cuteness and I can’t wait to use this bag for some print mixing with my striped tees..lolPretty tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion and DIY Style Blog - Camouflage Cuteness

Hello lovelies! Sorry for the intermittent posts the last week, my boys have been out of school for summer break for one week now, and I’ve had to do so re-adjustments and have now gotten my rhythm back.  I am happy to be back to our regular scheduled posting..lol  I’m also happy because I am wearing my happy color with this diy yellow maxi dress I made using Kwik Sew K4169 and the sunshine yellow ponte stretch knit fabric.  I’ve always been a huge fan of this shade of yellow and I am so excited to see that yellow is a big trend right now, so it’s fairly easy to find a piece you love in this color, but for us tall girls finding a maxi dress that is long enough, well not that easy, So I took matters into my own hand and created my own.  But don’t you fret I’ve linked some tall dresses that I’ve found available in yellow for those of you who don’t sew. I’ve paired my did yellow maxi dress with my denim jacket and again statement earrings.  I love how there are so many great earrings available right now.  They really do make a an outfit pop, although with this bright yellow hue, it does that on its own. I’ve finished the look off with the summer “it” bag, I really love this bag it also makes a statement on it’s own. Hello Lovelies!  As promised here is another look with these fab destructed white skinny jeans from Amalfi Talli.  For today’s look I decided to go the cute and casual route.  I know it’s summer but June gloom has seriously set in here in San Diego with the Sun making very rare appearances, so this look has faired well with it being a cool and breezy in the mornings and evenings.  This look is great for running errands, hanging out with the kiddos and could have also worked for Memorial Day! I love the red and white together but in order not to look so candy stripe-ish I added my denim vest.
