Do you have some pieces in your wardrobe that you only wear during a certain time of year but wish you could wear year long?  Well maxi skirts are one of those items for me.  I used  to think of only wearing them during the summer months. Now with my addiction to Pinterest, I have found numerous ways to incorporate them into the fall/winter as well.  Speaking of “numerous ways”,  I have also found a number of ways to wear this cute 382 long sleeve cardigan in charcoal, from Tall Couture as well.  (I can’t wait to show you in upcoming posts). It is extremely comfortable and versatile, definitely a piece that is perfect for all seasons.

 Today I am wearing the most amazing skirt! A wonderful Red Etruscan Print Skirt in tall size, from Soft Surroundings.  This skirt is pure gorgeousness and feels heavenly.  It’s full, flowing and fully lined.  It’s long, pleated, and has hidden pockets. It is so well made and best of all it’s pretty! You know I am in love.  I decided to take a styling cue from the Soft Surroundings website and pair it with a classic white button down and turquoise accents, but I can already picture myself wearing this skirt three different ways.  Which you will of course see on the blog. Wearing this skirt makes me feel pretty and like I’m vacationing in paradise and should be walking on a beach hand in hand with my love.  Okay, okay I know I  live in Hawaii, which makes me happy, because it means that I can do just that and get away with wearing this skirt every day.

Hello loves! I hope your weekend has been going good so far.  Remember some posts back I told you all I was craving this Biker Jacket from Topshop but unfortunately it was sold out in my size. Well I checked back on April 9th and my size was back in stock.  So I did not hesitate and snapped it up.  It arrived a few days ago and I was a happy girl.  The sleeves are über long. Its cropped which is the look I wanted.  When I first told my husband I ordered he was a non believer because it wasn’t real leather which he prefers, but I advised him I had been looking for a jacket like this with long enough arms for me forever and PU was not that bad.  So when the jacket arrived and I tried it on to show him, he actually liked it as well which was a plus.  I ordered the jacket in a 12 US  size and it is a bit roomy but that’s what I wanted so that if we head to the mainland during winter it can be layered with knits underneath.  I wore this outfit yesterday to the mall and Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlor with the family.  I have to admit my shoulders were back and head was up, I was feeling pretty good kind of modelish. Love my new wardrobe addition!
