Today I’m wearing mint and nude print cropped pants I made a couple months ago, but never  got around to putting the zipper in.  My husband took our boys to San Diego for a week so that I could get a break/vacation and I’ve had time to finish up some projects. I decided to pair them with my flowing mint tank and nude strappy sandals.  I have been wanting sandals like these forever and was so happy when I found them online at Payless.  They go up to a size 13. I ordered the black ones as well.  Both pairs will be getting a lot of love this summer.

You Big! http://prettytallstyle.com/2012/11/03/you-big/ http://prettytallstyle.com/2012/11/03/you-big/#comments Sat, 03 Nov 2012 22:56:52 +0000 http://prettytallstyle.com/?p=1373 Read More →]]> I was in Payless Shoe store scooping up a few pair of shoes on the last day of there BOGO shoe sale.  For those of you who aren’t familiar, BOGO stands for ‘Buy One Get One’ half off. You buy one pair of shoes and get the lesser valued pair for 50% off.  It excludes their  green tag everyday value shoes.  Good deal in my opinion because their shoes are quite inexpensive, plus they also give a 10% off military discount, so a win-win-win situation for me.  You know I love a good deal. So as I was standing in line waiting to pay for my shoes, I notice this cute little Hawaiian boy standing completely still and staring up at me.  He looked to be about maybe three or four but he was tiny and not moving at all. I don’t even think he blinked.  So I  looked down and smiled.  He then, pointed at me and said, “you, big!”  I laughed and said, “yes, I am TALL” emphasis on the tall.   His mom and dad who were in front of me in line paying for their shoes, turn around.  The mom grabs the son as he is still standing frozen and staring at me and tells him,  ”it’s not nice, its rude to stare” and then apologizes to me. I smile and say,  ”it’s okay”. They leave the store and I noticed the mom was taller than the dad , who was also tiny by the way, and this made me chuckle to myself.  As they were walking away, the  little boy stops, turns around and walks up to the storefront glass window, smiles and waves good-bye to me.  I smiled and waved back.  I guess this “big” woman made a “tiny” new friend.
