Hello Lovelies!  I am totally excited for today’s look because it features a couple of new found fave’s.  First off let’s talk about this fabulous floral print bomber jacket that I picked up for under $20 from Ross Dress For Less.  I’m totally excited about this jacket because I have been looking for one that didn’t break the bank for quite some time now and I happened across this pretty baby by chance.  I was immediately drawn to the abstract floral print ad the soft colors.  I also love how this jacket feels so lightweight, and like it’s made from silk.  Bu what made this floral print bomber jacket an absolute win was that when I tried it on, the sleeves were long enough, say what!!! Yes it garnered the happy dance.  I live for shopping scores such as this!  What is great about this jacket is that I can wear it year long, styled over tee’s and tanks in the warmer months and layered over a turtleneck when it starts to cool down.  I so look forward to creating a multitude of looks with this jacket.Pretty Tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion and DIY Blog - Floral Print Bomber Jacket

Okay the second reason I am excited about today’s post is that I am trying a new denim style with these cropped distressed boyfriend jeans from Old navy.  I’ve been trying to venture away from my usual go-to skinny jeans and thought I would give these a try and I have to say I love them.  They look great with heels, mules and sneakers as I’ve tried them with all of the above.  They are so comfy as well as cute. Right now these are great for the spring and summer, but I’m also thinking these can be worn with boots during the fall and winter for an effortlessly chic and edgy look.  I’ll have to play around with them and you know I will bring the looks to the blog for you all to see, that is if I don’t look crazy..lolPretty Tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion and DIY Blog - Floral Print Bomber Jacket Pretty Tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion and DIY Blog - Floral Print Bomber Jacket

So summer has officially decided to show up.  We’ve had beautiful warm weather the past couple of days, so I’m definitely looking for ways to stay cool and cute.  I came across these high rise wide leg crops from Old Navy and immediately wanted them but I was a bit disappointed to see that they weren’t available in tall sizes.  But I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger and I am so happy that I did.  I love the fit of these.  I think because they are “high rise”  they hit me where they should on my waist.  If these were mid-rise they would not have worked on my tall frame being regular sized. If you are expecting hot temps where you live, you may want to take a look at these because they are so light weight and easy breezy.  They consist of a tencel and rayon blend and have elastic at the back.  Another plus is that they have pockets.  As we know pockets make everything better.  For reference I’m wearing these in an extra large.  They are a little baggy in the waist, so they fall down a bit on me so I will take them in about an inch and they will be perfect.  I really love these and would recommend if you are looking for ways to beat the heat and stay chic.Pretty Tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion and DIY Blog - White High Rise Wide Leg Crops Pretty Tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion and DIY Blog - White High Rise Wide Leg Crops Pretty Tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion and DIY Blog - White High Rise Wide Leg Crops

Hello Lovelies!  I hope this Tuesday is finding you all well.  Today I’m blushing from head to toe! So I’ve had these pretty blush booties named Joyce from Smash Shoes for several months now and I absolutely love them.  I was mad at my closet though because I really didn’t have a lot of things that I thought would pair really well with them.  Well as I told you all in my last post that I recently made a trip to Burlington Coat Factory and I found this super cute blush Adidas sweatshirt dress and I immediately thought about how cute it would look with these booties.  So I quickly picked it up in a size large and scanned the price tag.  You guys it was only $19.99 and these dresses normally retail for around $60 and up.  So into my cart it went. When I got home I tried it on with my booties but felt like it was missing something and remembered my blush suede hat I picked up a couple of months ago from H&M.  I put it on and I had a look I loved.  I think this would be a cute concert going look.  So I am definitely happy to add it to my lookbook for future reference.  Next I’m hoping to find a blush colored bomber type jacket to pair with these booties as well.  So if any of you come across a tall suede blush colored bomber jacket let me know.  Pretty Tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion and DIY Blog - Blushing Pretty Tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion and DIY Blog - Blushing

Hello Lovelies! I hope all is well.  Have you ever been in a mood where you didn’t feel like getting dressed or even doing your hair but you wanted to go out to eat a lot of food..lol  Well today’s look was thrown together with that type of mood.  I had just received this dress from Make Me Chic and knew it would be perfect because of how roomy and casual it is.  I knew that it would be cute with sandals but I didn’t want to be bother with tying any straps up my leg and I”m ashamed to admit I didn’t even feel like bucking any buckles for that matter either, so I grabbed these slip ons and thought my moto jacket would make i look chic and edgy…lol These cute earrings I picked up a couple of days ago from Burlington Coat Factory.  If you have one in your area I would advise you to head to their accessories department right now.  They have a lot of cute statement earrings that are currently trending and they are a fraction of the price of what I’ve been seeing.  I’m talking between $4.99-$6.99!! I’m telling you I just picked up some Kenneth Jay Lane dupes that are normally $90 for only $5.99.  Pretty Tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion and DIY Blog - Thrown Together - Make Me Chic

Okay now back to this dress from Make Me Chic, do you all see it has pockets!!  Also remember ladies I am 6’4″ tall and you see where this dress hits on me.  So this would be an item that could work for us tall ladies and if you’re in the 5’8 to 6’2 range this would be the perfect maxi length dress for you all so if you’re a tall lady and wondering is this brands item would work for you.  For reference I am wearing an XL and probably should have ordered a Large as this dress is very roomy and I will have to take it in a bit at the top.  But I don’t think I would have gotten the extra length if I had ordered the large. Pretty Tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion and DIY Blog - Thrown Together - Make Me Chic Pretty Tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion and DIY Blog - Thrown Together - Make Me Chic
