Happy Labor Day! Wearing a casual red, white and blue look for this Labor Day.  I hope all in the states have enjoyed your three day weekend.  My hubby was off on Friday as well, so it was a great four day weekend for our family. I decided to keep it casual and match-matchy for this holiday weekend.  I absolutely adore this Wonder Woman tee I picked up at Wal-Mart a few months ago for less than $10.  I’ve linked to a couple of similar ones that are under $10 below. How cute are these Asics?! When I spotted them on Nordstrom Racks Website for less than $50 I knew they had to be mine.  I love the gingham print on the inside and the red/whitenavy that go with a lot of my wardrobe. I also think that I am starting to become a sneaker head. In the past two months,  I’ve been trading in my heels for sneakers, they are more conducive to my current lifestyle.  I turn the big 4-0 this month and I am on a mission to be more active, and its easier for me to do when I have comfortable shoes on my feet.  I find myself taking the stairs and not minding parking further away.  I’m also ready to go for impromptu trips to the park or walks with my boys. Hello Lovelies! I hope this Monday finds you all well.  Today I bring you a review of the Check Wrap Long Sleeve Top from Long Tall Sally.  There are three things I absolutely love about this blouse.  The first is the black and white check grid print.  The check grid print is very on trend and modern, yet the black and white color, make it a classic that can be worn year round and pretty much go with with any solid color bottom and if you’re daring can be paired with another print as well. I love that the sleeves of this top are so wonderfully long. I can reach out, up and down, and not feel restricted in any manner. The cuffs of this blouse stay beyond my wrists and I love it! My third favorite thing about this blouse is the draping and placement of stitching. A lot of times with wrap tops you have to either wear a cami underneath or worry about revealing your girls because of gaping. The designers over at LTS have put thought into this blouse, by placing a perfect stitch up top, to keep this blouse closed without disturbing any of the fluidity of the lovely draping.  Genius!  I decided to pair my Long Tall Sally Check Wrap Long Sleeve Top with black skinnies and pumps and a pop of color with my blue clutch.  I also see this blouse being worn with a pencil skirt, dressier trousers and underneath a suit blazer for a polished, professional look.

Hello Lovlies! I ordered this Old Navy V-Neck Tee Dress a couple of days ago, and just received it in the mail yesterday.  I took pictures last night because I could not wait to review it and put it on the blog for you all today, while it was still fresh and available in all sizes online.  If you’re anything like me in the fact that you like easy breezy dressing and style without a lot of effort and a casual dress that is cute, comfortable and chic, plus throw in super affordable (it’s less than $30 and even cheaper than that when you use a promotion code, that Old Navy always has going on). When I purchased mine, I got it with 40% off!   As a tall girl I have had a hard time finding this type of basic tee dress. I love that this is 1.  long enough for me (I measured from should seam to the bottom hem and its 42″), so it sits perfectly at just above my knee, and 2. it is loose fitting, but not boxy. You can still see curves without it being  super clingy and showing my trouble spots.  When I viewed this dress online and I loved how it looked on the model and loved that it was offered in tall, in addition to regular and petite. For reference I’m wearing an x-large tall and I probably could have gotten away with a large tall but I am happy with the fit, as I didn’t want it to be clingy anywhere.  It’s the perfect length sitting just above the knee. It is cute, oh so comfortable and chic, the perfect throw on and go dress.  I also love the olive green color which I believe is not only a classic neutral color, but also very on trend right now. You can wear this dress with wedges as I am here, or with flat sandals, sneakers, and ankle booties as the model shows online.   It’s also a great transition piece for fall, you can add leggings and flats, or even knee high boots, throw on a scarf and jacket.  This dress also comes in a dark heather grey and black. I also ordered it in black which I plan on wearing on the blog next week with my gladiator sandals.
