Hello lovelies! If you couldn’t tell from my last couple of posts I am so ready for spring and over this cold weather. So since I take my outfit pics indoor I figure I can go ahead with my spring style posts and maybe this will make the warm temps appear sooner. fingers crossed…lol Finally posting this cute diy black and white gingham wrap mini dress. I finished it earlier last month but didn’t quite like the length. It stopped a little below my knees and looked very matronly, so I was trying to figure out how to salvage it and decided to cut it shorter a couple of inches above my knees and I am in love with it. It was super easy to make and the directions were very easy to follow. I will definitely be making a couple more of these in various colors/prints to wear this spring and summer. Keeping them the same length as this one.

I decided to add a pop of color with sunshine yellow. I’ve had this Phillip Lim x Target bag for several years now and I was happy when I found these Nine West flats at Nordstrom Rack (size 13) for under $40. They were the perfect match for my bag. It seems I’ve been adding quite a few pieces in this color as of late and love how it just adds that extra oomph to a look. What I love about this dress and look created today is that is truly fits my lifestyle as a stay at home mom, but allows me to be cute and pulled together as well.
