Pretty Tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion and Lifestyle Blog - Navy and Khaki

Yesterday Hilary Rodham Clinton announced her 2016 presidential bid.  When I was editing these pictures for the blog I thought today would be a fitting day to post them, because I myself was feeling a bit presidential or at least First Lady-ish in today’s look, well minus my sunnies…hehe, I had to add a little flair..lol I’m loving this color combination of navy and khaki, so fresh, crisp and classic.  What I also love about todays look is that I feel lady-like, grown-up and powerful. I will be turning 40 later this year and sometimes I find myself in limbo with how an almost forty mom of two is supposed to dress.  I find myself questioning whether a look is too young or sexy, or too matronly, sometimes it’s hard finding the right balance, that is me, but I love this style journey that I’m on because whether a look is a hit or a miss it is getting me one step closer, one outfit at a time to where I want to be style-wise.  Hopefully by the time I do hit 40 I will have it all figured out. Hopefully, maybe, that is until I decide to change it again..lol Until then I think this ‘presidential’ look is quite fitting. 😉Pretty Tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion and Lifestyle Blog - Presidential What I’m Wearing:

  1. There’s no way you’re going to be 40!!! You look so youthful and amazing. Not that 40 is a bad thing but I think you get what I’m trying to say. Now that I’m in my mid-30s, I know what you mean about vacillating between a young style and a more mature style. It’s hard to find that perfect middle ground. But like you said, it’s fun trying to find the balance while experimenting with different looks. You look very regal in this outfit by the way. I’d vote for you. :)
