Pretty Tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion, DIY and Lifestyle Blog - Four Pieces Four Looks

Hello Lovelies! Today I am wearing the most appropriate fall shirt, a red and black buffalo plaid button down.  I purchased this top a couple of months ago online from Old Navy and absolutely love it.  I think it is a great place to shop for basic, everyday wearable items without breaking the bank.  I also LOVE that they have an ample supply of tall clothing to match the regular size items.I decided to rock my buffalo plaid button down, four different ways with the same basic pieces: A white tee, black skinny jeans and so I wouldn’t exactly look like a lumber jack, jazzed it up a bit with some high heel, platform over the knee boots.  It goes to show that with the proper basics in your closet, you can really maximize your wardrobe.Although I’m wearing the exact same four pieces, I created four totally different looks by simply changing up the way I wore my buffalo plaid button down. So if you haven’t already, get more use out of your plaid and flannel shirts this fall by throwing them over your shoulders, try tying them around your waist, button them and roll the sleeves up, or simply put it on without buttoning it.  Another way that I didn’t even show here today is by putting it on and knotting it in the front, or making it a criss cross wrap and tucking it in.

If Buffalo plaid isn’t your thing substitute with your favorite plaid or flannel top.  It works just the same. Hopefully this post has helped to inspire you with different ways to wear your basic pieces and get more mileage out of them.  Can you imagine the possibilities of how many outfits can be created with this top, when I pair it with skirts, shorts and even dresses.  Stay tuned and if you haven’t already, make sure to subscribe to the blog today so you don’t miss it! 😉

Thank you for stopping by!

 Hugs,
