I Am San Diego Tall

Hello Lovelies! I hope you all are doing well. I can’t believe it’s been nearly two months since I’ve posted, but a lot has been going on, and I’m glad to be back to blogging again. Coming straight out of the gates with a collaboration featuring XLT Clothing, for their IRep Tall Series.

I thought it was very fitting that the day after Veterans Day I get to represent my hometown of San Diego, because after 27 years of service to our country, my hubby is finally retiring from the Army. In a couple of months we are relocating back to our hometown of San Diego. We both were born and raised there and look forward to raising our two young sons in our beautiful city.

This ‘I Am San Diego Tall’ tank could not have come at a more perfect time, and I absolutely adore the design and customization that was put into the making of my tee, to help me rep my tall and my city. The design team over at XLT Clothing captured the beautiful city skyline resting upon the waters that surround the coastline of San Diego, a sight that I always see and love whenever I fly back into San Diego. Long Tall Sally Check Coatigan

Yesterday was the first official day of fall. Of course here in Hawaii, nothing really changes as far as the weather so I sometime pretend that it is cool enough to wear layers and beautiful fall pieces, such as this black and white check coatigan from Long Tall Sally. When I picked this knit I actually thought that e would be leaving the island by this fall and headed somewhere with seasons, but as those familiar with the military life, things happen or sometimes don’t happen when they are supposed to. So we are in a waiting game. As I wait, I may as well crank the AC up and wrap up in this super comfy coatigan, which is truly like a blanket. I mean it really is big, as other reviewers have stated but big in this instance doesn’t necessarily mean bad. This is a cuddle-up, warm and cozy type of knit and perfectly oversized for us tall girls, which we all know are hard to come by. As we head to a colder climate this winter I will definitely be packing my Long Tall Sally Coatigan to keep me warm.

LTS Check Wrap Long Sleeve Top Review

Hello Lovelies! I hope this Monday finds you all well. Today I bring you a review of the Check Wrap Long Sleeve Top from Long Tall Sally. There are three things I absolutely love about this blouse. The first is the black and white check grid print. The check grid print is very on trend and modern, yet the black and white color, make it a classic that can be worn year round and pretty much go with with any solid color bottom and if you’re daring can be paired with another print as well. I love that the sleeves of this top are so wonderfully long. I can reach out, up and down, and not feel restricted in any manner. The cuffs of this blouse stay beyond my wrists and I love it! My third favorite thing about this blouse is the draping and placement of stitching. A lot of times with wrap tops you have to either wear a cami underneath or worry about revealing your girls because of gaping. The designers over at LTS have put thought into this blouse, by placing a perfect stitch up top, to keep this blouse closed without disturbing any of the fluidity of the lovely draping. Genius! I decided to pair my Long Tall Sally Check Wrap Long Sleeve Top with black skinnies and pumps and a pop of color with my blue clutch. I also see this blouse being worn with a pencil skirt, dressier trousers and underneath a suit blazer for a polished, professional look.
