Leopard Print Scarf

I have really been into scarves as of late.  They are an easy way to add visual interest to an outfit.  Especially if you choose one in a bold or vibrant color or eye catching print, such as this leopard print scarf I picked up from Target a couple years back.  I love the print and richness of the different color browns.  It draws ones eyes up toward the face and helps to camouflage any tummy action you may have going on, depending on how you i.e. it. ;)   What I also love about a good leopard print scarf is the versatility.  Today I am wearing it with neutrals and it is perfect for a fall look.  But this card is light weight so it an also be paired in the spring, I thinking with black and white stripes for a chic print mixing look.  It can pretty much be worn with anything because as you know, “leopard is a neutral.”pretty tall style - tall women's fashion blog - leopard print scarfWhat I’m Wearing:

Hello lovelies! Today’s outfit of burgundy and black,, is probably one of my favorites to date.  It is cute, chic, comfortable and classic, but most importantly it is an inexpensive and easy peezy outfit, put together with pieces from some of my favorite stores.  My dress which is tall size and my bucket bag are both from Old Navy, both bought on sale and online.  I love the length of this tunic dress.  It hits right at the perfect spot for this mom on the go.  Perfect for running errands, brunch dates and picking up the kids without flashing anyone…a winner in my books! My scarf is a clearance find from Target,  what can I say I love Target and make it a habit to stop by at least once or ok maybe twice a week. Love their clearance section even more, always some great finds there. My hat is a $10 bargain beauty from Forever 21.  I haven’t had much luck with them lately on clothing finds but I always ending up buying something from their accessories line, whether it be a hat, bag or jewelry, their style and prices never disappoint. Last but not least my black open toe ankle boot shoes or ‘shooties’ are a Payless sale find.  I really love that a lot of their shoes go up to a size 13 an although as some have mentioned their prices have gone up, but I believe their quality and style quotient have as well.  So I’m okay with that.  Plus their sales and discount codes more then make up for it.  I might be a little partial as well because I’m always using my military discount in stores as well. These stores are known for being budget friendly and I love how they have all stepped up their game, by adding on trend yet classic pieces that look expensive, but don’t break the bank. They’ve allowed me to step my game up and adhere to my motto of finding ‘stylish, yet affordable fashion that fits’.  Do you have a favorite store that you love for their inexpensive yet stylish pieces?pretty tall style - tall women's fashion blog - burgundy and blackWhat I’m Wearing:

DSC04937 If you’ve been following my blog for some time, then I’m sure it probably does not come as a surprise that I adore Old Navy! I would say that at least a  good 30% of my wardrobe comes from them.  Not only do they offer an abundant variety in tall sizes, but their prices are amazing!  They are really quite affordable and seem to offer some type of promotion on a weekly basis.  I mean, you know I love a good deal! I’ve always thought they were a great place too shop online for your everyday basics in tall sizes. But what I am loving even more about Old Navy right now, is the on trend and very cute styles they have been offering as of late. I mean how cute is this sweater? And these black mid-rise skinny jeans fit like a glove and go past my ankles.  My black and white gingham top is from Old Navy as well although it is not tall sized and this bucket bag as well?!  Just in case you’re still not a believer, all of these pieces combined, still cost less than the sales price I paid for these Sam Edelman ankle boots.  These four Old Navy pieces combined were less than $60 because I bought them at different times on sale with an additional discount promo code. If you haven’t checked out Old Navy in a while, you may want to give them a second look online, especially for the tall pieces. You just might ‘adore’ them too. :)dsc04927ppWhat I’m Wearing:
