Yesterday was the first official day of fall. Of course here in Hawaii, nothing really changes as far as the weather so I sometime pretend that it is cool enough to wear layers and beautiful fall pieces, such as this black and white check coatigan from Long Tall Sally. When I picked this knit I actually thought that e would be leaving the island by this fall and headed somewhere with seasons, but as those familiar with the military life, things happen or sometimes don’t happen when they are supposed to. So we are in a waiting game. As I wait, I may as well crank the AC up and wrap up in this super comfy coatigan, which is truly like a blanket. I mean it really is big, as other reviewers have stated but big in this instance doesn’t necessarily mean bad. This is a cuddle-up, warm and cozy type of knit and perfectly oversized for us tall girls, which we all know are hard to come by. As we head to a colder climate this winter I will definitely be packing my Long Tall Sally Coatigan to keep me warm.
