Several weeks ago I was introduced to Zofie Shoes. Upon review of their website I found that they design and make shoes exclusively for women with size 9-13 feet. I was given the opportunity to choose a pair of shoes to review for you all and I chose the Felicia in Emerald Green Suede, in a size 12. I normally wear a 12 or 13 in shoes, depending on the brand and style of the shoe. I was informed by the owner of Zofie shoes, that these tend to run a little big, so she suggested I try the 12. I’m glad I listened to her, because they fit perfectly and comfortably. The shoes have a 2 1/2″ covered heel which is a great height, not too high and not too low. They have a rounded toe with a slight point, which I love, because it makes them a classic shoe style, in a very modern and now color. The green suede that covers the shoe is gorgeous, and perfect for spring and summer. The shoes are handcrafted in Brazil, and well made of quality materials. They have a leather sole, lining and upper, with a leather covered heel, as per mentioned on the Zofie Shoes website. Again I received the size 12 and I measured the widest part of the sole and it is about 3 3/4″ in width (measurement taken on the outside, bottom of the shoe) and the approximate length of the sole is about 11 1/2″. I held my measuring tape on the inside following the mold of the sole for this measurement. I decided to pair them with my floral print jacket from Zara and distressed boyfriend jeans from Banana Republic. My neutral cognac leather tote from J. Crew ties everything together for a casual, yet pulled together spring look. I have been in desperate need of a spring green pump and these from Zofie Shoes definitely fit the bill. They will be in high rotation this spring and summer for me.
