Polka Dot Blazer
Hello Lovelies! So I am still shopping my closet and loving it! I found this Loft (tall) polka dot blazer that I purchased around this time last year, but never wore. Why not, you may ask I have no idea! But I am so glad that I pulled it out. It is perfectly on trend today and I’m sure for years to come. Black and white, polka dots, mid-weight ponte knit, long sleeves and fitted, I don’t think it gets any better than that. I paired it today white white skinny jeans, black pumps and pops of color with a sunny yellow tank and pink mirror sunnies. A nice spring day look.

Blue-Green Blazer
We all know I LOVE color, and I am finding out that I also love blazers and cardigans and coats and jackets as I am once again organizing my closet. While going through my blazers I came across this blue-green blazer from Chadwicks and realized I haven’t worn it. I thought now would be a good time as any since we are transitioning to spring. I decided to pair it with a simple cobalt blue top I picked up from Old Navy a few months ago. As you know blue is my favorite color, so I am happy to have found another color combination that works so well with it. My earrings were a Charlotte Russe find from several years ago and they go perfectly with this combination. Making a mental note to self to buy more colorful earrings because I really love how they help to pull my look together. My jeans from Gap, purchased several months ago last year. They are a light blue wash, although they look almost white here. I decided to go with a cognac leather bag and belt as opposed to blue-green or blue because I felt the contrast was better. Also I have learned that a neutral is a great way to balance the color. My ‘style’ is forever changing and evolving, especially as I get older, but one thing I know for sure, color will always remain a part of it.
