White Midi Skirt and Heather Grey Tee

Hello lovelies! Last night we had the open house for my sons school. I can’t believe I will have a Kindergartner and a Preschooler this coming Friday. So from 8am to 2pm I will have, just me time. Don’t get me wrong I love my boys, but this will be a welcome break…lol I’m excited to get back to working out in the mornings and having a couple of hours to sew as well during the day, as opposed to late at night during the week.

Now onto what I’m wearing. Today I am staying in the neutral zone again with my diy white midi skirt and heather grey tee. I’ve added my saddle tan accessories for an added pop. I have to say as much as I love color, this has to be one of my favorite color pairings to date. It just seems crisp, fresh and sophisticated to me.

Style wise I’m still trying to find my way and today’s look I think has brought me a bit closer. I’ve been finding it difficult lately trying to find that balance of age and mommy appropriate and modest, yet still have some vavoom (if you know what I mean)…lol Then on top of that, make sure that the body parts that I am not so happy with right now (like my tummy) are covered. It makes finding outfits sometimes a very difficult and dreaded task. But its a journey and I’m at least having fun and learning what I like, dislike and love, along the way, whether its a hit or miss.
