I first showcased this dress on the blog here. Thought it was time to take it out of the closet for another spin. As you all know if you’ve been following my blog for some time, I like to re-mix pieces from my closet. I am definitely not a blogger or person for that matter who only wears clothes or an outfit one time. If I bought it for sure and most definitely if I spent my time making it. So today I’ve paired it with tie up sandals and to give it a relaxed feel I decided to pull it down and showcase it as an off the shoulder dress.

I’m thinking next I can break up the monotone with pops of color via either my shoes, bag or even a cardigan or blazer. There are so many different options and color pairings. This works for day dresses you may have in your closet. Especially when they hit you at the knee because you can wear pumps, high heel sandals, flats or flat sandals. Day dresses can be paired with blazers, cardigans, moto jackets and denim jackets. You can even wear a sweater over this type of dress, making it look like a skirt. Use your imagination, sometimes it can be as simple as changing your jewelry, adding a belt or even your hairstyle. As I pulled my straps down, maybe you can too or better yet , try wearing your dress backwards to see if that works for another option as well. It is all about getting the most out of your wardrobe. So this dress will definitely be making a few more appearances on the blog. Hopefully my diy palm print dress re-mix helps to get your creative juices flowing to inspire you to get more out of your day dresses as well.

Thank you for stopping by!
Hugs,
