This white floral print shirt dress from SheIn is another winner for us tall girls.  The print is so pretty and this dress is so light and airy.  Perfect for summer! Now again I am a bit boobilicious (38DD) and this dress is an extra large. So please keep in mind that although I can button this dress all the way up it has unsightly pulling and any wrong move and the buttons would probably pop off.. so I chose to be a bit risqué and left the buttons undone.  But a camisole would be needed and worn by me for this pretty dress in the daytime. So a few years ago I made this dress in a green stretch knit. I loved that dress and had to say goodbye to it when it was messed up during a trip to the emergency room where I was admitted and had to have surgery.  Well as I stated I really loved that dress, but I have to admit that I love this version even more because I actually had enough fabric to make the pockets and you know this tall girl loves a dress with pockets!  This version is made of a cotton stretch ribbed knit fabric in this vivacious orange color.  I love wearing bold and bright colors during the summer time and my mission this summer is to make a multitude of different types of maxi dresses in a bevy of colors and so far, so good!.  I decided to pair this orange dress with these turquoise statement earrings I found at Burlington Coat Factory.  I am just as obsessed with colorful statement making earrings as I am with maxi dresses right about now.  This has to be one of the most comfortable and easiest outfits to just throw on and go, yet I still look pulled together.  Perfect for brunch, running errands or simply lounging around.  This dress has me covered and I will be making several more of these.

Ok so how amazing is this Blue Halter Neck Floral Print Maxi Dress from SheIn and my tall ladies do you see how long it is.  And yes this actually came from SheIn and what if I told you it’s only $23!! For reference I am wearing a size XL and I’m  6’4″ tall and I am wearing 3″ wedge sandals.  On the model this dress sweeps the floor.  But I was so surprised to see that it was still actually maxi length on me,  hitting right at my ankles.  As you can see from my pictures It doesn’t look too short at all.  So I’m thinking if you’re tall and shorter than me this would be a great length on you and guys this dress is even prettier in person!  I can see it being worn to a summer wedding, a bridal shower, brunch or date night where you just want to feel pretty. Now let’s talk about this Merona Gingham Bomber Jacket from Target, as soon as I laid my eyes on it in the store I knew I had to have it, believe it or not specifically for this purpose.  I have been seeing dressier dresses and skirts dressed down with bomber jackets and I love the look.  So I attempted it here with some print mixing, and I have to say I love how it turned out!  Gingham is the perfect summer print and I love that this bomber jacket is lightweight and makes a great layering piece.  Today I’m print mixing with florals and I will be pairing it with stripes soon as well.Pretty Tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion and DIY Style Blog - Blue Halter Neck Floral Print Maxi Dress from SheIn Pretty Tall Style - Tall Women's Fashion and DIY Style Blog - Blue Halter Neck Floral Print Maxi Dress from SheIn
